Poland international Lewandowski didn’t score during the Barcelona game, but he was able to provide the assist for the goal that started the scoring for his team on 34 minutes. His cross was headed into the back of the net by Mueller.
Bayern Munich showed their supremacy over Barcelona with two goals in nine first half minutes. Ex-Manchester City winger Leroy Sane produced a long range shot two minutes from the half-time interval to double the hosts lead as the Bavarian giants went into the break with two goals on board.
Young midfielder Jamal Musiala recently finished in the top three of the best players under the age of 21 alongside injured Barcelona midfielder Pedri and Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham and he showed his quality with the third goal two minutes after the hour mark.

The away defeat to German champions Bayern Munich ensured that Barcelona finished in third to bag an Europa League playoff spot.
