Barnsley defender Michael Helik is set to leave Barnsley for Europe with the club expected to accept a seven-figure fee from Polish side Lech Poznan, according to reports. Helik has not yet agreed personal terms with the Ekstraklasa champions but a four-year deal is on the table according to an article from Inertia Sport. The 26-year-old has widely been expected to leave this summer following the club’s relegation from the Championship where he was named Player of the Year by his teammates.
