POLAND SECURE SECOND WITH BIG WIN

Poland are up to second in Group I of the UEFA qualifiers as far as the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament is concerned after the thumping win over Albania. Poland survived a brief scare to beat Albania 4-1 at home thereby moving above Hungary to claim second spot behind group leaders England.

In one of the round three games in Group I, Manchester United skipper Harry Maguire scored five minutes from time to secure a 2-1 home win over Poland thus inflicting a first defeat on their opponents. Poland have been able to bounce back with the win over Albania in the fourth round of games.
Hungary were in second place at the start of the fourth round of games in Group 1 but they are down to third spot after the heavy defeat to England on Wednesday night. England won 4-0 with all the four goals coming in the second half courtesy Raheem Sterling, Harry Kane, Harry Maguire and Declan Rice. The Three Lions played for the first time after their Euro 2020 final heartbreak in the summer.
Poland are the new recipient of second place in Group I after the 4-1 win over Albania on Wednesday night as mentioned earlier. In the final game in Group I on Wednesday night, Marc Vales scored twice in the first half to give Andorra a 2-0 win over San Marino.
