Poland Denies the Victory of the Republic of Ireland by Scoring a Late Goal in a Sizzling Match

Aiden O Brien began his journey into International football, by scoring a goal for the Irish team and this came after a week that was quite turbulent for both the player and the team; although the match ended with a tie, the win is a morale boost against Poland.

It was in the 53rd minute that the striker had headed a goal for the Irish team, but this was equaled by an equalizer in the 87th minute from Klitch and all this happened during the match when the skipper of the Poland team had to wait to wear his cap for the 100th time.

The week saw that there was a fall-out between the assistant coach of the Irish team and Waters and in the midst of this situation, Martin O Neill, who is the boss of the Irish football team, provided the response in the National League with the help of a drubbing which could actually encourage them.

They had slipped to the fourth loss in five games and the team came under a lot of criticism when they had slipped to 4-1 in the game at Cardiff with the people and the media condemning their defense that was toothless and attack which was just ordinary.

The crowd of the stadium was close to 25,000 and the players played prolifically to deny a strong Polish attack to surge against the Irish team. It was thanks to the manager who had experimented with the defense of having five men as a unit and this paid off. The team, which had been plagued by injuries and the fall-out incident, this was an encouraging sign for sure and it will be nice to see how it fares in the upcoming matches as well.
