Hainer is the Bayern Munich president and he spoke about Poland striker Lewandowski and his future at the club in an exclusive interview with Goal. According to him, the Poland skipper is the best striker in the world and that Bayern are delighted to have him in their ranks. Hainer then said that the player would spent the remaining two years left on his current deal at the club.

Lewandowki showed why Haineris on the right path by calling him the best striker in world football. The Poland international broke the Bundesliga record for most goals last season. The previous record of 40 goals set byGerd Muller stood for five decades before Lewandowkibroke it with 41 league goals last season. Bayern Munich great Gerd Muller scored 40 league goals each in two seasons.

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel wants to add a quality striker to his team this summer and Borussia Dortmund star ErlingHaaland is the first choice but Dortmund have always maintained that the £150m-rated player is not for sale. Lewandowski is seen as an alternative to Haaland and his transfer fee will most likely be lesser than that of the Borussia Dortmund hitman due to age and the length of contract butBayern are also not open to the sale of their star striker.

Tuchel and Chelsea might need to spread their tentacles elsewhere in the bid to sign a new and quality striker before the transfer window ends in the next one month.
