KAPUSTKA TO JOIN FREIBURG ON LOAN

Premier League side Leicester City are set to release its player BartoszKapustka to Bundesliga side Freiburg on a loan deal, according to reports.

The Poland international is in Germany for medicals ahead of the season long loan deal.

Kapustka did not make any appearance in the Premier League last term so the Foxes are expected to sanction the move to the German club. The 20-year old is not being considered for the first team so the loan is thought to be in order.

The player was signed by former manager Claudio Ranieri for A?2 million after he impressed at the European Championships for Poland. Ranieri felt he needed further development so he was mostly with the feeder team.

Last term, Kapustka played just three times in the FA Cup for Leicester City as he continued mainly in the Under-23 division. On the international scene, he was capped 14 times though.

The current manager Craig Shakespeare wants the player to go out and get regular first team football so he can develop faster than playing second fiddle at the Kings Power stadium. Coincidentally, Freiburg are also referred to as The Foxes in Germany. So Kapustka is leaving The Foxes on loan to feature for The Foxes.

For Leicester City, there are hotly chasing Swansea striker Gylfi Sigurdsson. The Iceland international was set to move to City after the club submitted a record A?40 million. However, Swansea rejected the bid for the 27-year old. Reports say the Iceland international has now pulled out of the clubas pre-season tour over the uncertainty over his future.

After Everton released RomeluLukaku to Man United, Sigurdsson is expected to join them. Ronald Koeman made an offer similar to that of Leicester but Swansea rejected it as well. The Toffees are likely to get the player at the end as Sigurdsson is keen on joining them.
